Lone Star Performance Horses is located in the beautiful state of Texas.    

Our focus is producing a true athlete that will excel on the track or barrel pen. Our broodmare band consists of  performers and producers; who are all own daughters of the greats.  Click here to view our current broodmares.  

We usually have a variety of horses for sale -  Weanlings,  Barrel or Race Prospects all the way to Finished Barrel Horses.   Occasionally we may also have mares in foal for sale.   Sale horses can be viewed here. 

Lone Star Performance Horses is proud to call home to A Sharper Image.    Sharper ran AAA on the track, Was Champion Running 3YO Colt and Remington Parks Horse of the Meet!   As a sire he has produced several stakes qualifiers and numerous World Chammpion Barrel Horses and Futurity Winners. 

UPDATE!!!   We are proud to introduce Special Contender to our stallion line up. Contender is one of the very few APHA stallions of Special Effort (and the only one standing at stud that we are aware of)   Contenders dam is a AAA daughter of Bully Bullion who is a AAA race producer as well.  His second dam is a full sister to Easy Jet Too!   For additional  information on Contender please visit his page here.
